The Neighborhood Conservation District Committee (NCDC) of the City of New Orleans is a committee developed to review demolition applications within the district. Since demolition is an irreversible step, there is a need for careful review to ensure that demolitions are not performed unnecessarily. Please refer to Sections 26-3 through 26-11 of the City Code for the rules and regulations associated with the committee. These code-based requirements are supplemented by the Committee's Rules, Policies and Procedures.If you need to apply to the NCDC for a proposed demolition, please refer to the Demolition Request form, the NCDC Requirements form, and the NCDC Schedule for additional information.
