Neighborhood Conservation District Committee Meetings

The Neighborhood Conservation District Committee (NCDC) of the City of New Orleans is a committee developed to review demolition applications within the district. Since demolition is an irreversible step, there is a need for careful review to ensure that demolitions are not performed unnecessarily. Please refer to Sections 26-3 through 26-11 of the City Code for the rules and regulations associated with the committee.  These code-based requirements are supplemented by the Committee's Rules, Policies and Procedures.

If you need to apply to the NCDC for a proposed demolition, please refer to the Demolition Request form, the NCDC Requirements form, and the NCDC Schedule for additional information.  To determine if your property is within the boundaries of the Neighborhood Conservation District, please refer to the NCD Boundary Map.

To watch live and archived NCDC meetings, and to find the agendas and minutes of meetings taking place after February 21, 2011, please click here.
