UPDATED: Rules, Policies, & Procedures Public Hearing Notice

The City Planning Commission, at its March 11, 2014 meeting, will take public comment on and consider amendments to the text of its Rules, Policies, & Procedures.  These changes are generally related to the following matters:

 

1)      The submission, distribution and public access to written reports,

2)      The reconciliations of an inconsistency with the City Charter relative to the Department of Property Management’s obligations regarding long-term lease review,

3)      The modification and expansion of the Commission’s Historic Non-Conforming Use Policy,

4)      Updates for consistency with the Neighborhood Participation Plan,

5)      Updates for consistency with State Law, and

6)      The modification of the Street Renaming Policy

7)      Other general revisions to inconsistencies throughout the document

 

A copy of the proposed amendments to the City Planning Commission’s Rules, Policies and Procedures and a copy of the Preliminary Staff Report are available for public review at the offices of the City Planning Commission and are posted on the City of New Orleans’ web site at www.nola.gov/cpc
