Schedule of Code Enforcement Hearings
The Code Enforcement Department holds regular hearings for properties that are in violation of the City Code. Residents are welcome to observe the hearings and may request to testify.

You can view a list of upcoming hearings here:

***Please note that upcoming hearings information has been moved to data.nola.gov, which can be found in the above link.***

Upcoming Reset Dates
During a hearing, an owner has the opportunity to enter into an agreement to make the necessary repairs to their properties. If they do this, the Code Enforcement Department gives them a ‘reset’ hearing date. During a reset hearing the owner must show that they have completed the agreed upon work. If they have not, daily fines can begin.
