Curbside Recycling

  • Cart delivery will be ongoing.
  • There is no additional cost for recycling.

Items that can be recycled curbside

  • Paper (newspaper, magazines, junk mail, office paper, phone books, catalogs)
  • Plastics (#1 through #7)
  • Small metal cans (aluminum, steel, tin)
  • Cardboard
  • Paperboard (cereal boxes, toothpaste boxes)
  • Waxed cartons (juice boxes, milk cartons)

Eligibility

  • If your address is eligible for garbage collection by the City, it is eligible for the recycling program. Eligible addresses are buildings with four units or less, and not a restaurant, bar or hotel.
  • Curbside recycling is currently not available in the French Quarter or DDD
