City of New Orleans issues reminder that early voting begins Oct. 23 and runs through Oct. 30

NEW ORLEANS, LA – The City of New Orleans is encouraging all citizens to get out and vote in the Tuesday, November 6 election and take advantage of early voting beginning Tuesday, October 23. Early voting continues through Tuesday, October 30 from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm daily, excluding Sunday, October 28.

Citizens who want to vote early may do so in person at three locations opened by the Orleans Parish Registrar of Voters:

Citizens wishing to vote early at City Hall are encouraged to park in Garage 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome using the Poydras Street entranced beginning Tuesday, October 23 through Tuesday, October 30, excluding Saturday, October 27. On Saturday, October 27, citizens may park in Garage 1 using the Poydras Street entrance. Voters will be given an Early Voting sticker after they vote and should show this as they exit either garage to have their parking fee waived.
