NEW ORLEANS, LA—Today, the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Economy issued a filming notice to New Orleans residents.
A production company will be filming scenes in City Park on Monday, December 3rd through Wednesday December 5th on Harrison Avenue and Diagonal Blvd from approximately 6pm to 6am. In order to facilitate filming, Harrison Avenue will be closed to traffic and detoured to Filmore Avenue. Law Enforcement officers will be on site to supervise the closure for safety. During nighttime filming hours, light poles within the street closure on Harrison (between Marconi and Wisner) and also Wisner (between Harrison and Mirabeau) will be turned off. Power will be restored to the street lights immediately after filming is complete.
Film New Orleans assists productions with the City’s permitting process, connects productions with local crew and resources, and facilitates communication between productions and the local community.
