NEW ORLEANS, LA – Today, the City of New Orleans announced relocation of the Civil Service Commission, City Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Adjustments in preparation for the upcoming One Stop Shop.
The Civil Service Commission has relocated to the Amoco Building, 1340 Poydras St., Suite 900, and will reopen to the public on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 8:00a.m. Civil Service can be contacted by phone at (504) 658-3500.
The City Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Adjustments will be closed from Wednesday, January 23, 2013 through Wednesday, January 30, 2013. BZA and CPC will reopen to the public on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 8:00a.m in City Hall, 1300 Perdido St., Room 7W03. City Planning can also be contacted by phone at (504) 658-7033. Safety and Permits will be closed on Monday, January 28, 2013 due to construction, and will reopen on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 8:00a.m.
The One Stop Shop will improve customer service and make it easier to do business with the City and in the city.
