City reschedules STAT meetings

NEW ORLEANS, LA—Today, the City announced the following changes in the schedule for the Office of Performance and Accountability’s STAT meetings:

The QualityofLifeStat meeting originally scheduled for Thursday, April 4, 2013 has been rescheduled to Thursday, April 18, 2013.  The April 18 meeting will cover data for February and March 2013. QualityofLifeStat will now fall on the third Thursday of every month.  

The ReqtoCheckStat meeting originally scheduled for April 18, 2013, will be rescheduled for May 2, 2013. ReqtoCheckStat will now fall on the first Thursday of every month. 

BottomLineStat
BottomLineStat is the City’s performance management tool for revenue collection and cost containment efforts. These meetings are held the fourth Thursday of every month.

BlightStat
BlightStat is the City’s performance management tool for tracking the City’s progress towards meeting Mayor Landrieu’s goal of reducing the blight count in New Orleans by 10,000 by 2014. These meetings are held the second Thursday of every month.

ReqtoCheckStat
ReqtoCheckStat is the City’s performance management tool for tracking the entire process of contracting out services—from the requisition of budgeted funds to the issuance of check for services rendered. These meetings are held the firstThursday of every month.

QualityofLifeStat
QualityofLifeStat is the City’s performance management tool for addressing public nuisance quality of life issues, including repairs to streetlights and potholes, clearing illegal dumping sites, and towing abandoned cars. These meetings are held the third Thursday of every month.

All meetings are held in the 8th floor Homeland Security conference room at City Hall, 1300 Perdido Street, New Orleans, LA 70112.

The four STAT programs are examples of Mayor Landrieu’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and data-driven management. Coupled with the quarterly ResultsNOLA report cards for city departments’ key performance indicators, the Landrieu administration is implementing performance management initiatives designed to improve results to citizens.
