NEW ORLEANS, LA – The New Orleans Recreation Development Commission (NORDC) will continue the Movies in the Park program with “The Little Rascals” today at 7 p.m. at McDonogh Playground in Algiers. The McDonogh Booster Club is hosting this week’s film.
Movie goers are encouraged to arrive early to relax with family and friends and participate in fun physical fitness activities with Stef’s Xtreme Steppers.
Throughout the fall, residents will have the opportunity to watch family movies for free on a large portable outdoor movie screen in grassy areas in parks and playgrounds across the city. Movies will begin at 7 p.m., weather permitting.
Movies in the Park is free and open to the public. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No pets, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, firearms, weapons, smoking, or cooking will be allowed during the event.
