NEW ORLEANS, LA – Today, the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Economy issued filming notices for Highway 90/General DeGaulle.
On Friday, May 9, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. through Monday, May 12, 2014 at 6:00 a.m., the DOTD will be doing necessary repair work in conjunction with a production company that will be filming exterior scenes on the Crescent City Connection East Bound Lanes. As a result, the Terry Parkway Exit will be closed on I-90 East and the General DeGaulle Exit will be restricted to the South Bound Exit only. The filming activity will include a simulated car crash within the closed lanes of the Terry Parkway Exit. State Police, Jefferson Parish Sheriff Officers, Gretna Police, Orleans Parish Sheriff Officers, EMS and NOFD will be on site to ensure public safety and to help facilitate traffic flow.
