NEW ORLEANS, LA – Today, the City announced that 2014 property tax bill images are available on the City’s website and paper bills are being mailed to all Orleans Parish property owners beginning today, December 26, 2013.  Property tax payments are due on Friday, January 31, 2014.

City announces City Hall holiday closures

NEW ORLEANS, LA—Today, the City of New Orleans announced that City Hall will close at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 and remain closed all day on Wednesday, December 25, 2013.  Public Safety departments will maintain 24-hour operations.

NEW ORLEANS – “An overwhelming success” is what State Police commanders are calling the final results of a 7 week, statewide intensive enforcement effort that has resulted in more than 1,000 criminal arrests, the seizure of more than $6 million in illegal drugs, recovery of over 100 illegal weapons and over 600 fugitive charges.
