The Rockefeller Foundation names New Orleans as an inaugural city of the 100 Resilient Cities Network

NEW ORLEANS, LA- Today, Mayor Mitch Landrieu and the Rockefeller Foundation announced that New Orleans has been selected to join the 100 Resilient Cities Network. New Orleans was one of nearly 400 cities across six continents to apply for the 100 Resilient Cities Challenge.

NEW ORLEANS, LA— The weather forecast indicates the temperature or wind chill factor in New Orleans is expected to fall to 35 degrees or below overnight on Wednesday, November 27 and Thursday, November 28, 2013. All citizens should take appropriate precautions to protect themselves from the potentially dangerous effects of this weather.
