History

GHENA was organized in the Fall of 2002. The purpose was to unite neighbors in our area and give them a voice with regard to how things developed in our community, and to circuvent some of the negative conduct and elements that had begun to manifest in the area. Our three primary focus points were Safety, Aesthetics and Environment. GHENA's first meeting was August 5, 2002; and soon after a regular meeting date and place were established with the support of our City Councilmember, and the 3rd District Police Department.
