Early Saturday, March 2, 2015 at around 2:20 a.m. off-duty New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD) firefighter Roddrick Harrison noticed flames coming from a roof behind a bar located at the corner of Frenchman and Burgundy Streets.

On Friday, May 1, 2015 at 5:25 pm, the New Orleans Fire Department received a call from an alarm company and several 911 calls of smoke in the area in the French Quarters. When firefighters arrived on the scene at 5:28 pm they saw light smoke coming from the first floor of Mango Mango, a Daiquiri Shop located in a four story mixed use commercial structure at the corner of Bourbon and Iberville Street.

On March 23, 2015 at 6:38 am, the New Orleans Fire Department responded to 2309 Baronne St. The NOFD received a 911 call from a second floor resident stating his smoke alarm had been activated and smoke was in the hallway.

On Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 10:31 am, the New Orleans Fire Department responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a house on fire with persons trapped at 6300 Fountainbleau Drive.

The New Orleans Fire Department received a call for a train derailment in New Orleans East at Almonaster Blvd at 6:13 p.m. NOFD was on scene at 6:20 p.m. Two Public Belt Railway cars, each carrying 30,000 gallons of crude oil, were found derailed.
