NOPD Obtains Warrant for Yesterday’s Central City Shooting

August 15, 2013

(August 15, 2013)-Today Sixth District Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for 35-year-old Terrance Carter, for shooting a 36-year-old yesterday in the 1500 block of South Robertson Street around 5:45PM.

Detectives were able to develop Carter as a Suspect through citizen involvement.  An arrest warrant for Attempted Second Degree Murder was signed by a Criminal District Court Judge earlier today. The victim is currently listed in guarded condition at the hospital.

Carter has been previously arrested for Possession of Heroin, Possession of Stolen Property, Driving on a Suspended Driver’s License. Carter was also issued a Criminal District Court Capias the same day he committed the shooting.
