New Orleans Police have arrested 30-year-old Don Williams in connection with five robberies that occurred within two days in the French Quarter.
Williams was found to be responsible for the following robberies.
August 13th in the 1000 block of St. Philip Street
August 14th in the 900 block of St. Louis Street
August 14th in the 800 block of St. Peter Street
August 14th in the 800 block of Orleans Avenue
August 14th in the 1000 block of Barracks Street
Further investigation into the incidents led detectives to several videos of the suspect captured on private surveillance cameras. On August 16th, Williams was apprehended by Eighth District Task Force units at the intersection of North Rampart and Kerlerec Streets.

Williams was booked with four counts of Simple Robbery, one count of Armed robbery, and Parole Violation.
Don Williams has 15 felony arrests and 13 misdemeanor arrests. Williams is currently on parole until July 2015 for Possession of Cocaine and Possession of a Firearm. He has previously been on probation for Possession of Crack Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana. Williams is recognized as a possible career criminal with past arrests that include Felon with a Firearm, a Parole Violation in 2012, Battery, Resisting/Obstructing an Officer, Possession of Crack, Simple Burglary, Aggravated Arson, Possession of Marijuana, Crime Against Nature Solicitation, Lewd Conduct, Obstruction of a Public Place, Public Intoxication, Disturbing the Peace, Criminal Trespassing, Shoplifting, Begging, attachments, warrants, and traffic violations.
