(April 9, 2014) – Homicide Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a 52-year-old man. The victim was found earlier this evening around 4pm, in the middle of the street near the intersection of Eliza and LeBoeuf Street.
Officers were called to investigate a “man down” in the street. When officers arrived they found the unresponsive victim. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the person(s) responsible in this incident, as well as a motive.
Homicide Detective Theo kent is in charge of the investigation.
