Suspect Arrested in Triple Shooting Leaving Two Women Dead

Yesterday, 25-year-old Cody Williams was arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 19-year-old female, a 49-year-old female, and the injuring of an 18-year-old male.

Williams was arrested by the U.S. Marshall’s Task Force, at approximately 1:30 P.M., in the 1600 block of South Saratoga Street.  Williams was booked with two counts of First Degree Murder and one count of Attempted First Degree Murder. 

On March 13, 2014, shortly before 3:00 P.M., officers responded to a “shooting” near Foucher and South Saratoga Streets where they located the  19-year-old female lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.  She was transported to the hospital where she later died.

The 49-year-old female was located inside a residence in the 3500 block of South Saratoga Street suffering from a gunshot wound to the body.  She was transported to the hospital where she later died.

The 18-year-old male was located in the block suffering from a gunshot wound to his foot.  He was later transported to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition at the time.
