MURDER IN NEW ORLEANS DROPS BY DOUBLE DIGITS IN FIRST QUARTER OF 2014

NEW ORLEANS, LA—Today, the New Orleans Police Department announced that New Orleans saw a nearly 30 percent drop in murders in the first quarter of 2014 compared to the same time frame last year, according to the FBI Uniform Crime Report (UCR).
