NOPD Investigating Mexico Street Murder

 

NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of an unidentified man and the non-fatal shooting of an unidentified man. Both victims appeared to be in their early 20’s. The shooting took place around the 2300 block of Mexico Street.

NEW ORLEANS - The NOPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating and identifying two suspects who are wanted for Aggravated Rape.  The incident took place May 04, 2015, in the 5400 block of Crowder Boulevard.

Chief Harrison proposes policy change, ordinance on police response to false alarms

NEW ORLEANS – In an effort to significantly reduce the amount of time officers spend responding to false alarms and to improve police response time to actual crimes, today NOPD Superintendent Michael Harrison announced a comprehensive proposal to reduce the number of false alarms citywide.

NEW ORLEANS - The NOPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Timberland Singleton.  Singleton was last seen on May 10, 2015, at the Burger King located at 2423 South Carrollton Avenue.

Mercedes-Benz Superdome to go blue for NOPD officers

NEW ORLEANS—In an effort to honor NOPD officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty and to thank current NOPD officers who are serving the New Orleans community, tonight through Thursday night, the Mercedes-Benz Superdome will light up in all blue.

Suspect Sought In Freret Street Armed Robbery And Carjacking

NEW ORLEANS-  The NOPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an unknown black male wanted in connection with an armed robbery and carjacking that occurred yesterday around 12:15 p.m., in the 7600 block of Freret Street.

Suspect Wanted For Attempted Murder And Armed Robbery

NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is asking the public’s assistance in locating 31-year-old Danny Dillon Sr. who is wanted for Attempted Murder and Armed Robbery in two separate incidents.  The Attempted Murder incident took place May 7, 2015, in the 6000 block of Chef Menteur Highway.

NOPD Investigating Eastern New Orleans Traffic Fatality

NEW ORLEANS—The NOPD Fatality Section is investigating a crash that left a 35-year-old male motorcyclist dead. The crash occurred this afternoon just after 1:00 p.m., near the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Lonely Oak Drive.

Suspects Wanted For A Business Burglary On Gentilly Boulevard

NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating and identifying three male suspects who are wanted for a Business Burglary.  The incident took place May 4, 2015, at the Cash Cow located at 3147 Gentilly Boulevard.
