As a member of the senior management team, the Chief Programming Officer (CPO) helps to develop the vision, set the strategic priorities and design, and manage all NORDC programming. The CPO is responsible for ensuring the high-quality implementation and delivery of all programs. Athletics Director (full time)
The Athletics Director (AD) is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, and evaluating athletic programming in order to provide diverse recreational opportunities for individuals and groups of all ages. The AD leads a team of Managers and support staff, and maintains effective relationships with partner organizations and community leaders. Director of Maintenance (full time)
Very responsible supervisory, administrative and technical work in directing the overall facilities maintenance function of the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission. Work includes directing the activities of a large group of in-house and contract staff in a variety of occupational trades and functions in support of efficient operations, upkeep and improvements in all facilities, grounds and equipment. Equipment Operator II (full time) NORDC is currently hiring an Equipment Operator or for the Maintenance Division. Requirements include: a current Louisiana Commercial Driver's License. Current Commercial Driver's License with applicable endorsements must be presented at the time of application. Applicants must have a good driving record. Applicants who have a record of two or more moving violations, or one or more Driving While Intoxicated violations within the last eighteen months will not be eligible for employment in this classification. Applicants may be hired pending the results of a traffic violations check, but any applicant so hired and later found
