Orleans Registrar of Voters Office is proudly committed to participating in community events in the city.

One major goal is to raise awareness on the importance of the election process and be a direct resource for citizens who are interested in voter registration.

At these events that help connect citizens to the vote, we provide assistance with voter registration and distribute information on upcoming elections.  We answer questions citizens may have related to the vote.

The Registrar's Office encourages Orleans communities and organizations to use our office as a resource for voter education purposes.  A request for our participation must be submitted two weeks prior to the event.  Please note high volume election cycles may cause us to re-schedule or provide alternative assistance.

Interested in becoming a volunteer?

Volunteers will attend events with our team members to assist citizens with voter registration.  Email us and let us know your availability!

Voter Education Week

Every year, our office participates in Voter Education Week.  During this week, we divide our team members up to travel throughout the parish for voter registration initiatives.  Each team is equipped with a official voter machine and provides demonstrations for those who are interested.
