Ways You Can Get Involved

Advisory Board (HCHAB)

The advisory board consists of homeless or formerly homeless individuals, as well as non-homeless individuals who provide needed services to the homeless community.  The HCHAB has been brought together to positively affect the healthcare delivery at the Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) Clinic.

The mission of the HCHAB is to:

A.  Advocate for the patients who utilize the healthcare services delivered at the HCH clinics.

B.  Provide recommendations and advise the HCH leadership to better serve the homeless population.

C.  Encourage homeless individuals to seek out healthcare and maintain a healthy lifestyle, regardless of their situation or ability to pay, by using the services offered at the clinic during their time of need.

The HCHAB will assist the program with recognizing opportunities and areas of improvements, while overcoming and facing economic challenges to deliver quality patient care, as well as accomplishing our evolving and defined mission.
