NEW ORLEANS— To protect the safety of our riders as well as our employees, RTA's bus, paratransit, streetcar and ferry services will remain suspended until after Tropical Storm Nate has passed through New Orleans.
RTA anticipates restoring limited bus services beginning at 4:30am tomorrow, October 8th based on passable road conditions. Streetcar services will be replaced by buses until the power grid has passed all inspections and can be reinstated.
RTA personnel are working closely in coordination with the City's Emergency Operations Center to monitor conditions after the storm. Visit ready.nola.gov or call 311 for more information.
