MEDIA ADVISORY: Mayor Landrieu to Host Graduation Ceremony for Job Training Program

NEW ORLEANS – Tomorrow, Dec. 12, 2017, Mayor Mitch Landrieu and City officials will celebrate the graduation of the 17th cohort of the City’s job training program, STRIVE NOLA. Mayor Landrieu will also recognize the successes past STRIVE NOLA graduates who have benefitted from the program.

Launched in March 2015, STRIVE NOLA connects disadvantaged jobseekers to employment opportunities by providing workforce case management, foundational skills training and supportive services. Additionally, in December 2017, Mayor Landrieu announced the STRIVE Fresh Start program to support participants involved in justice system.
