Mardi Gras Parades Will Roll This Weekend

NEW ORLEANS—Today, the City of New Orleans announced that the Krewes of Iris and Tucks scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 10 will begin an hour earlier due to the anticipation of the rainy weather. Iris will begin at 10 a.m. and Tucks will begin at 11 a.m.

The Krewes of NOMTOC and Endymion will roll as scheduled. NOMTOC will start at 10:45 a.m and Endymion will start at 4:15 p.m.

Parade-goers should expect delays in traffic. Additionally, residents are encouraged to dress appropriately and expect rain.

NEWLY-SCHEDULED TIMES:

  • Krewe of Iris, 10 a.m.
  • Krewe of Tucks, 11 a.m.

REGULARLY-SCHEDULE TIMES:

  • Krewe of NOMTOC, 10:45 a.m.
  • Krewe of Endymion, 4:15 p.m.
