Neighborhood Cares Initiative

On Saturday, April 20th from 9AM-12PM, the Mayor’s Neighborhood Engagement Office (NEO) will hold a Neighborhood Cares Day at Conrad Playground (3400 Hamilton St.) in Hollygrove to kick off Love the Boot Week.

The event will consist of a community cleanup, resource fair, music, a clothing giveaway, free groceries, a game truck, free snoballs, free health screenings, and free food for the community. City departments will be out in the field addressing quality of life concerns identified by the neighborhood.

Volunteers are needed to make the event a success. At the event, volunteers will make improvements to the playground as well as beautify the surrounding area. While supplies last, volunteers will receive lunch and a free t-shirt.
