The New Orleans Recreation Development Commission (NORDC) is listening, working and moving forward with you! NORDC will host an Open House on Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Sanchez Center to share information about opportunities for NORDC partnerships for the Spring Season (January-May 2016).
Participants will learn about program partner opportunities, application processes and recreation center locations with available program times. In addition, city representatives will be available to assist with questions and paperwork required for the application process. Partnership opportunities are available in all of the NORDC recreation centers at various times throughout the day.
We will continue to host Open House events to share available programming partnership opportunities before the start of each season. Please be advised that NORDC only provides funding to Summer Camp partners.
NORDC partners deliver a wealth of activities to the citizens of New Orleans, such as athletics, dance, music, and visual arts. As we grow, we invite other organizations to grow with us! We are particularly seeking program partners for teens/young adults, girls’ sports, seniors, special needs, and cultural programming. However, all interested parties are encouraged to attend. We look forward to seeing you!
