(June 20, 2013) – Homicide Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old man. The Incident occurred yesterday around 11pm in the 3900 block of General Ogden Street in. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.
“The victim was found lying in the middle of the street. He’d been shot multiple times and died on the scene.”
Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the person(s) responsible in this incident, as well as a motive.
Homicide Detective Travis Ward is in charge of the investigation.

Whoever becomes an accessory after the fact shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars, or imprisoned, with or without hard labor, for not more than five years, or both; provided that in no case shall his punishment be greater than one-half of the maximum provided by law for a principal offender.
