A Shooting Leaves One Man Dead In Algiers

July 19, 2013

A 39-year-old man was shot and killed in Algiers. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of family members. The incident occurred at approximately 9:40 P.M., in the 3400 block of Vespasian Boulevard.

Police responded to a call of a male shot, and upon their arrival, found the man lying in the street shot to the head and arms.

The man died on the scene.

The lead Homicide Detective in this case is Jeffrey Vappie II.
