Man Missing Since Last Week

December 27, 2013

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 41-year-old Mark Martinez, who was last heard from by his father on December 20, 2013, at approximately 7:00 P.M.

Martinez’s father believes Martinez was in the French Quarter area when he last spoke with him.  Martinez’s cellular phone was also located at an unknown location on Bourbon Street.

Martinez is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 6’0” tall, approximately 180 pounds, and has blue eyes and blonde hair.  Martinez has a tattoo of a waterfall on his left upper arm, a peace sign and a cross on his left forearm, and the name “Jack Croouk” with an unknown symbol on his right arm.

A photograph is unavailable at this time.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mark Martinez is asked to call 821-2222.

The New Orleans Police Department, under the leadership of Superintendent Ronal W. Serpas, is engaged in a complete transformation in its approach to ensuring that New Orleans is a safer place to live, work and visit. The police force is committed to transparency, accountability, collaboration and integrity.
