Pair Sought in Tuesday's Deadly Mid-City Shooting

(April 25, 2013) NOPD’s Homicide division is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the pair seen in the video; detectives believe the pair are the suspected triggermen in the shooting deaths of 22-year-old Desmond Bell and 26-year-old Orlando Rickmon, which happened Tuesday evening April 23, 2013 in the 4000 block of Baudin Street.

NOPD Arrests Serial French Quarter Armed Robber

Eighth District detectives have arrested the man they believe held numerous people at gunpoint in the French Quarter over the last several days, and made off with their cash.

Man Found Shot to Death in Lower 9th Ward Neighborhood

(April 22, 2013) – Homicide Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a 36-year-old man. The victim was found shortly before 4pm in the alleyway of an abandoned residence in the 600 block of Tupelo Street.  The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.
