New Orleans Eastern Runaway Last Seen Yesterday

March 11, 2014

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Ariyan “Yannie” Branton, who was last seen by her mother at their residence yesterday in the 5600 block of Clements Drive.

According to Branton’s mother, Branton left their residence shortly before 10:00 A.M. on yesterday and has not been seen nor heard from since.  Branton’s mother believes her daughter may be acting out following a disagreement they had the day before resulting in her phone being taken away.

Ariyan Branton is described as an African-American female with a thin build, brown complexion, brown eyes, and curly brown hair.  She was last seen wearing gray pants and a sweater bearing the logo of Joseph S. Clark School.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ariyan Branton is asked to call 821-2222.

The New Orleans Police Department, under the leadership of Superintendent Ronal W. Serpas, is engaged in a complete transformation in its approach to ensuring that New Orleans is a safer place to live, work and visit. The police force is committed to transparency, accountability, collaboration and integrity.
