Early Voting


Important Dates for March 25th, 2017 Election

  • February 22:  Last day to register in person or by mail to be eligible to vote;  Registrations that are mailed must be postmarked by this date.
  • March 4:  Last day to register to vote online using GeauxVote.
  • March 11-18:  Early Voting Week.  All locations for early voting will be closed on Sunday.
  • March 21:  Last day to request mail ballot from Registrar (not including military and overseas citizens
  • March 24: Last day to return voted mail ballot to Registrar.  Ballots must be received by 4:30 p.m. (not including military and overseas citizens).
  • Voters who need help finding their polling location can call (504) 658-8300 or use the Louisiana Voter Portal
