The City of New Orleans

Mayor Mitchell J. Landrieu

Traffic Coordination

The Department of Public Works is responsible for managing traffic flow in the City. Maneuvering through areas of of high construction activity can be challenging. Drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians should travel cautiously through active construction sites and follow all appropriate safety signs and notices. It may be helpful to anticipate longer commute times to reach destinations within construction zones. View the maps below to plan your travel.
