Explosive Shipment Permit

A permit is required before shipping any type of explosive device or material in the City of New Orleans. Permits are granted by the Fire Prevention Division of the New Orleans Fire Department. 

To apply for an Explosive Shipment permit, please contact the New Orleans Fire Department at (504) 658- 4770. Instructions and stipulations of the permit shall be strictly adhered to.
