A fire incident report may be purchased for each incident to which New Orleans Fire Department responds.

Fees

The New Orleans Fire Department issues several different types of reports. The fees for the report depend on the type of report requested.

  • Incident Report- $25.00  (Allow 7-10 working days for the report to be completed)
  • Investigative Reports- $50.00 (Timeframe depends upon the completion of the investigation)
  • Arson Report- $100.00 (A written request must be submitted to the Fire Prevention Division to obtain this report).

*NOTE* NO CASH PAYMENTS CAN  BE ACCEPTED (All checks, money orders and cashier’s checks should be made payable to the City of New Orleans)

Citizens requesting incident reports must provide the correct date, address and approximate time of the incident.  Click the button below to use our online system to submit an Incident Report Request to the City of New Orleans via public records request. You may wish to search our publicly released records and documents at this address as well.
