NEW ORLEANS, LA— With City agencies focused on debris cleanup following Hurricane Isaac, the City announced the cancellation of the Quality of Life Stat meeting, scheduled for 8 am, Thursday, September 6, 2012. The normal schedule will resume in October.
QualityofLifeStat is the City’s performance management tool for addressing public nuisance quality of life issues, including repairs to streetlights and potholes, clearing illegal dumping sites, and towing abandoned cars. These meetings will be held the first Thursday of every month.
The QualityofLifeStat program, along with BlightStat, ReqtoCheckStat and BottomlineStat are examples of Mayor Landrieu’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and data-driven management. Coupled with the quarterly ResultsNOLA report cards for city departments’ key performance indicators, the Landrieu administration is implementing performance management initiatives designed to improve results to citizens.
