NEW ORLEANS, LA--Today, the City announced the following change in the schedule for the Office of Performance and Accountability's STAT meetings:
The QualityofLifeStat meeting that was originally scheduled for February 7th has been cancelled. The next QualityofLifeStat meeting is scheduled for March 7th.
BottomLineStat is the City’s performance management tool for revenue collection and cost containment efforts. These meetings are held the fourth Thursday of every month.
BlightStat is the City’s performance management tool for tracking the City’s progress towards meeting Mayor Landrieu’s goal of reducing the blight count in New Orleans by 10,000 by 2014. These meetings are held the second Thursday of every month.
ReqtoCheckStat is the City’s performance management tool for tracking the entire process of contracting out services—from the requisition of budgeted funds to the issuance of check for services rendered. These meetings are held the third Thursday of every month.
QualityofLifeStat is the City’s performance management tool for addressing public nuisance quality of life issues, including repairs to streetlights and potholes, clearing illegal dumping sites, and towing abandoned cars. These meetings are held the first Thursday of every month.
All meetings are held in the 8th floor Homeland Security conference room at City Hall, 1300 Perdido Street, New Orleans, LA 70112.
The four STAT programs are examples of Mayor Landrieu’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and data-driven management. Coupled with the ResultsNOLA report cards for city departments’ key performance indicators, the Landrieu administration is implementing performance management initiatives designed to improve results to citizens.
