Municipal & Traffic Court
If you receive a summons or are arrested on a charge which is prosecuted in Municipal Court you must appear on date and time given by the officer. If you fail to appear on the given date and time an attachment will issued for your arrest and you may be held in contempt of court. An appearance is required on all summons and arrests. An attorney may appear on behalf of the defendant on arraignment. All fines and costs are assessed by the presiding judge of that section. All fines are paid in section of court assigned at the time of arraignment.
Municipal Court accepts cash and money orders. An appearance is required to make payment and must be in the section of court printed on your subpoena.
