Flammable or Combustible Liquid Storage Permit (Installation or Removal)

A permit is required to have a fuel tank or flammable/combustible liquid storage tank either installed or removed from your property in the City of New Orleans. Instructions and stipulations of the permit shall be strictly adhered to. Permits are granted by the Fire Prevention Division of the New Orleans Fire Department. Fees

  • $75.00 per tank

Required Documents

  • Fuel Tank Permit Application
  • You must submit all required documents and complete all information that applies or application may be delayed. Fees are not transferable or refundable. Work cannot commence until application / plans are approved by Fire Prevention Division. Any checks or money orders must be made payable to the City of New Orleans (no cash).
