How Can I Renew A Building Permit That Has Expired?

If your building permit has expired, you can request a renewal by creating a new permit application of the same type, and including in the Description section that this application is a request for renewal. Please include the permit number. There is a minimum $65.00 charge for renewing an expired building permit, but you will not be charged again for review fees or for a percentage of the construction value that has already been paid for (if your construction value has increased, you may need to pay a percentage of the difference).
