Mayor's Neighborhood Engagement Office to Host Neighborhood Cares Day in Hollygrove at Conrad Playground

NEW ORLEANS — The Mayor’s Neighborhood Engagement Office (NEO) will host a Neighborhood Cares Day on Saturday, April 20 to kick off Love the Boot week. This event will take place in the Hollygrove neighborhood at Conrad Playground, 3400 Hamilton St. from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

At the event, community members can enjoy free food, free health screenings, music, a clothing giveaway, a game truck, and free groceries while engaging with city departments and local organizations at the resource fair. In addition, volunteers will be making quality of life improvements to the park and the surrounding areas. 

Mayor Cantrell and NEO are proud to work with District A Councilmember Joe Giarrusso, Hollygrove Neighbors Association, Thrive New Orleans, Giving Hope NOLA, Keep Louisiana Beautiful, the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission, We Dat's Chicken and Shrimp, Pee Wee's Crabcakes, B Spot, and Crescent Care
