Restore Louisiana Funding Program

As of November 21, 2023, the State of Louisiana's Office of Community Development increased the City of New Orleans' grant allocation by an additional $21,560,744.85. 

  The total allocation for Restore Louisiana funding is $33,280,853.85.

Public Notice

The State of Louisiana Office of Community Development has awarded the City of New Orleans $11,720,109.00 in Disaster Recovery funds.

  •  $7,002,068.00 in Hometown Revitalization Program funds
  • $4,718,041.00 in Resilient Communities Infrastructure Program funds.

The Resilient Community Infrastructure Program funds will address unmet needs in the areas of infrastructure in order to expand upon and improve resilient community planning.

The Hometown Revitalization Program is designed to address unmet needs for business growth and economic recovery in New Orleans that was impacted by the eligible 2022-2021 storms. 

These federal funds have been allocated to the City of New Orleans through the State of Louisiana Office of Community Development.

The purpose of these funds is to create a safer and stronger Louisiana by leading the state’s disaster recovery and long-term community resilience planning efforts with a great sense of urgency through innovation, partnerships, and best practices.
