Local McDonald's owners are stepping up to help spread the word that the NOPD is hiring.
The NOPD kicked off training for its newest recruit class with a total of 39 recruits, the largest class held since the department launched the "Get Behind the Badge" hiring campaign in 2013.
Building on a successful year of growing the department in 2015, the NOPD graduated 28 recruits from the Training Academy.
