At the Civic Leadership Academy's first graduation, held on July 22nd, 30 civic leaders who participated in the first cohort of the 8-week program were celebrated and encouraged to use their expanded knowledge of City government to help better their communities and quality of life. 

Despite pouring rain, we had a great turnout of neighborhood leaders who attended this quarter's roundtable on the topic of resilience.

A very engaged crowd of over 100 neighborhood leaders gathered on January 31st for the Neighborhood Engagement Office’s first quarterly forum of 2015 at Sojourner Truth Neighborhood Center. The Neighborhood Leaders Roundtable featured presentations, discussions and recommendations surrounding the important issue of public safety. 

This quarter's Neighborhood Leaders Roundtable featured presentations by executives from the Department of Public Works, the Sewerage and Water Board, and the Office of Coastal and Environmental Affairs.
