Neighborhood Cares Initiative: Upper Ninth Ward

The Mayor’s Neighborhood Engagement Office (NEO) is the City’s permanent mechanism for public participation in government decision-making. We create opportunities for dialogue, information sharing, partnership, and action between City government and neighborhood residents and leaders.

On Friday, March 10th from 10AM-1PM, NEO will hold a Neighborhood Cares Day at Odile Davis Park. We are proud to partner with District D Councilmember Eugene Green, Rebuilding Together New Orleans, the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission, Resilience Force NOLA, We Dat's Chicken and Shrimp, Pee Wee's Crabcakes, Fifth Church of God in Christ, the Law Street Baptist Church, Infinite Circle LLC, and the Culture of Cleanliness. The day will consist of a community cleanup, resource fair, music, and free food for the community.
